Rear center caps won't go on

Hey guys, i got my new wheels mounted today and everything went smoothly. Except for one thing, the rear center caps can't be put on because a nut under the center cap sticks out too far. Anyone else run into this problem with aftermarket wheels? Any ideas on how to combat this?

Thanks!

Spacers would be my best guess.

That's what I was thinking but I don't want my wheels pushed out any farther

High type center caps might help you out

True....^....or quite possibly you bought the wrong wheels that weren't designed to fit your G!

Different caps or a small spacer. How much clearance do you think you need? If it's only a couple millimeters maybe try a 3mm slip on.

Others have sanded down the inside of the center cap. Not sure how much material you have.

You can always go w/ a 3mm spacer. If you have that kind of room

Here is the center cap for those of you wondering what it looks like

I think I'm just going to go with a small spacer. I think a 10 mm spacer will do the trick.

I also attached a picture of the front center cap that fits correctly.

10mm spacers will definitely add quite a bit of extra clearance, and I think that will also work.
