So, I just ordered new front tires from tirerack because my alignment is off and the inside part of my tires have worn down to the belting (the middle and outer part of the tire have a lot of tread left). My understanding is that this is an alignment problem.

Can I trust a chain like NTB to do a proper alignment and fix this issue? Do they need special equipment to fix this type of alignment issue? Thanks for the advice!

They don't, but you might. The camber isn't adjustable. That's why the G wears the inside of the front tires. The only good fix is to install adjustable A-arms in front.

No way. Unless you've heard from some local car club that this guy in a particular NTB is good at alignments, I wouldn't risk it. Go to an alignment specialist. I've had so many problems at NTB, they are pretty much banned from my list of tire retailers.

Based on the thread that the OP made 5 months ago (https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-bra...they-last.html ), he's running totally stock suspension, and as of that date, he'd already gotten 18-20K miles out of his last set of tires. Michelin only warranties the SS in staggered fitment for something like 20K miles anyway, so its not like he hasn't gotten a reasonable amount of wear from them. Not saying he couldn't use an alignment, but it doesn't sound to me like he needs to go installing camber kits or anything.

VERY GOOD investigative skills! Yes, I'm running completely stock. I did end up going to NTB to get my new front tires put on and did an alignment check....according to their fancy read-out I was -0.24 degrees on my right front toe, 'normal is 0.04 degrees?, my TOTAL toe was -0.20 degrees, normal is like 0.10 degrees...they adjusted them so everything was green.

Now, my right & left rear camber is off a bit (both measured at -1.5 degrees), the tech stated that I need to replace my control arms or some bushing to get that fixed..or add shims? I wasn't quite clear on what needed to happen. I'm hoping this solves the inner tire wear problem.

It only cost me $70 for the alignment (had a coupon).
