2008 g35 headlight issue/fog light

I have a 2008 g35xs and My driver side headlight went out a while ago (it would flicker at first and then sometimes go on for a little after keep turnign it off and on) and after doing some research i found it was most likely just the ballast. So i got one off amazon and replaced it last week. I thought that fixed it and it was working fine till tonight. I guess it just turned off at some point and now I cant get a thing. No flicker or anything.

SO what now? is it the bulb or a bad ballast? Anything else it could be? Any help would be appreciated.

Also my passenger side fog light is out. Now this was replaced two times in a few months by the body shop (was in an accident) Im thinking this is bad news as its just not the bulb but a bigger electrical problem perhaps. What are the thoughts on this? Cant see it being the bulb blowing two times in that short a time....

Headlight flickering and going out is most likely the bulb...not the ballast.

As for your fog light problem, check the bulb first. Sometimes, unbelievable things do happen.

no its not flickering really and its not the bulb. Before I changed the ballast it would quickly blink on and eventually after 3 times turning the lights on an off it would go on for a few min then turn off again.

I dont think its the bulb because it worked for a week perfectly fine after I replaced the ballast.

as for the fog light issue Im sure the bulb is out and i can replace it no problem but is the bigger issue something thats causing the bulb to blow out really fast?

Swap your bulbs from left to right just to rule out the bulb. Then we can go from there.
