Lowering Spring Kit for 2008 G35x

Hello everyone,

I have a 2008 G35x, and I'm looking to replace my factory springs and shocks, because it's been over 10 years already and they're starting to get clunky when going over potholes and other deformities on the road. Particularly, I've been looking at springs offered by H&R and Tein. However, it seems like both springs and shocks need to purchased separately, as opposed to a complete kit. I'd appreciate any thoughts and recommendations for the upgrade. Thanks.

most people just get coilovers at this point. They come with the spring and strut together. Otherwise you could get lowering springs like you mentioned and have to get new struts/shocks too. The price of all that usually ends up being in the same ballpark as the coilovers. So most people tend to just go coilovers at that point, so they at least have adjustability.

Lowering springs = swift springs (most peoples choice)
Coilovers = Ksport (most peoples choice)

Have you checked to see if the clunking is just a bad strut tower spring mount? its a common problem that makes that type of noise.
