Can someone tell me the difference between the TransLab and TransGo valve body upgrade kits? Do they both do the same thing? I am looking for something for daily driving, and I don't really care for more speed or anything like that. I see that the TransLab shift kit says it fixes numerous issues with our valve bodies, does the TransGo one fixes those issues as well? I only ask since everywhere I look the TransGo one is recommended heavily, and I will get that one if it fixes the same issues as the TransLab one.

Never heard of the TransLab but I have been out of the game for years. Curious on this as well.

 

They both probably do the same thing, although there do seem to be some component differences (transgo has more springs, different drill sizes). With my money I'd get the transgo since it's so proven.

If you give them a call and ask them the difference I'm sure TransLab would be happy to tell you why their kit is an improvement over the transgo.

 

And I'd call TransGo and ask the same question about TransLab. Compare and decide.
