Hey Guys. I need some advice. I have a 08 G35 Sedan with 156k miles and want to keep it past 200k.

My AC compressor went out and I got it replaced with an aftermarket compressor + clutch from buyautoparts. Payed for the labor and after two months it stopped working. I got a replacement one under warranty and payed for labor again and it broke again within a few months.

Therefore, I am in a need of a good aftermarket replacement compressor. Do any of you guys have any recommendations?

 

Have you verified why it's going out? Maybe one could be a dud, but twice.....seems like there's an installation error or something else wrong in the system.
What failed and caused the failure on the original unit. What is failing on these other two units?

As far as a quality replacement. When mine went out on my 04, I replaced with a 100k odd mile unit. Never had any problems.
