It doesnt have a VDC button?

On my 05 coupe, i can press the button to turn the system on and off. It also resets automatically if I shut the car off.

VDC is on by default, the button will turn it off which will illuminate dash lights to let your u know it's off. Hit the button again to turn on.

Ignition on will always start out with VDC on.

Can u ask him what he did? If he modified the system, all we can do is just throw out random guesses.

The most commom way to completely turn off the VDC is by cutting the power to the yaw sensor, which is located under the center console.
