Gallery Gasket extras

Ok, so I'm currently planning out replacement of my gallery gasket (as a preventive measure) and I'm wondering what other items I should replace while I have everything opened up.I already have the A/C Compressor and timing chain/tensioners on the list, anything else you all would suggest?

Off top of my head: Water pump, thermostat, all the chain guides, crank/lower timing chain sprocket, and radiator hoses.

Forgot to list hoses and thermostat, guides I included with the chain/tensioner.
Water pump and lower sprocket never crossed my mind, thanks.

Got this completed last week, and I'm definitely glad I did the gaskets. 3 of the screws on the upper plate weren't even finger tight and took zero effort to remove. About 7 total required my handheld impact gun to remove (it has a variable trigger, not all-or-nothing). The lower plate took longer to get the gasket off of than the upper plate, which had loose but intact pieces of gasket in multiple spots. Water pump was pretty straight forward to do, as we're the timing chain guides and tensioner. Getting things removed/repositioned in order to remove the front cover was the hardest part. All in all, not too bad of a job, and if I had to do it again, I could probably do by myself in a weekend, just need extra hands to help put the front cover back on.

Very impressive! To be able to do all this, plus buy all the other parts, and install! >very well done< I have contemplated this for years on my 07, 78,000 miles, it runs as good as the day I bought it! but still a 14-year-old car now...... I'd have to pay though, I just don't have the tools and know-how for this type of job.

Thanks, it is definitely a good feeling getting it done myself. Nothing fancy as far as tools: sockets, ratchets, combination wrenches, gasket scraper, etc. The only thing even remotely fancy is the torque wrench and gear puller. The Haynes manual was about 2 notches above useless, the factory service manual was a huge help though.

Pretty amazing DiY. Was always scared of this going out on me on my old G35. Have since sold it but it seemed strong when I said goodbye.
