Car starts when it wants to
Car starts when it wants to
In the mornings car starts right up with no issues after driving I can shut off the car and if I try to turn it back on it won’t start up.
car makes me wait about 6-8 hours until it wants to start up again
At times car won’t make no clicking noises , it also won’t turn over
at other times car would crank/turn over for a second but won’t turn on because it stops it’s self as if something delays the cranking from fully cranking

Next time it won't start put it up on jackstands and see if there's power to the starter solenoid signal wire when the key is in the start position. Might be a failing start relay.
If you plan on doing the work on your vehicle yourself you should obtain the FSM for your vehicle and have all the necessary tools as well as a multi-meter for circuit tracing.
Otherwise it might be prudent the next time the problem occurs is to call AAA and have them flatbed your vehicle to the nearest Infiniti dealer. I'm sure they will discover the root cause of your problem within an hour of diagnostic time?
Never a good idea to just guess and start throwing parts at your vehicle hoping you'll guess correctly.
Good luck with whatever route you choose to go

Check section SC - Starting/Charging
You should also try putting the car in neutral to see if it will start, might be a failing PNP switch. Typically though if the gear selector on the dash says P or N then it's probably working correctly.
EDIT: The start relay is located in the IPDM, engine bay fuse block.
