Hooking up scope probes to ECM wires?
I've been troubleshooting a P0024 code (exhaust valve timing control Bank 2).
Bought a picoscope and want to hook up scope probes to pin 7 wire (exhaust valve timing control magnet retarder Bank 2), pin 37 (crankshaft position sensor) and pin 63 (camshaft position sensor bank 2). Then go for a drive and record the data.
I removed cover so the ECM and cabling is visible. How best to hook up the probes? I have the wire piercing probes.
