^why do we need to have an endless stream of new threads from people that dislike the new G Coupe? I'm not a huge fan of the new style I've seen only in pics but I'll reserve final judgement to see it in person. I've voiced my opinion already in several of the dozens of threads already started.

I can't understand why a person moving to another brand of car has such a strong interest in posting anti-sentiments towards the new G that is yet to be released.

*shrug*

some people just like to talk or stir up a little controversy..

I mentioned on my other thread that I stood in front of the G37 at the NYAS for over 30 min. During that time most of the discussions I overheard from visitors were overwhelmingly positive.

That is not to say there are features of the car that I personally think could be done differently. However, that is my taste. But to keep flamming it is, to me, well... *shrug*

What disappoints me the most is Infiniti's marketing campaign. We are months from delivery, but no news on pricing, packages, colors, etc. Infiniti seems to have very little concept on how to keep the "buzz" alive - you can see all the activities on the sites leading up to the NYAS, and it just died out, except for the flammings. They can learn a thing or two from folks like Apple and BMW.

Til I see the 37 at the showrooms in person, I'll reserve my comments to myself, I'm sure all the stuff people don't like will grow on them in time.

Back in 1996, when the last gen Prelude was launched, I personally hated the styling...but guess what...a few years later I bought one, cuz I loved the looks of it....

We can kick this dead horse (subject) around till the cows come home which I think we have done on the forums here in many threads but the market place will be the real determining factor.

IMO, Infiniti will price it right where it should be or maybe even better. The sales figures will tell everything. With the 37 if they get a different type of buyer then they were getting with the older version then sobeit. For those who don't like it for whatever reason, either hold onto our older G's or move on to a differnt vehicle.

Infiniti was on the ballz of their a$$ prior to the G. With the G they were able to successfully revive a fledgering badge. Now they need to take it to the next step. Whether we like or dislike what the 37 product is really doesn't matter.

Potty Pants..... can't let it go bro

That's my nickels worth.

Uh, do you know the packages were released with the Technical Specifications, Features and Options? Do you know the colors, at least the names, have been released? Do you know Infiniti representatives have said to expect a price increase like the gen2 G35 sedan price increase?

Just because you do not know these things does not mean others do not know them or that they have been released.

understood... thanks Garnet !

And guys I am TRUELY pissed... you think i like spending 10k more on a car... and sitting in a hyped "driving experience" heh. the feeling is like waiting for your birthday and the xbox 360 that you've been waiting for doesnt come but a game cube ( was going to say PS3 but some people actually like it).... or waiting to get that new LCD and getting a CRT... or... you get the point.

people will still buy it and I'll still recommend it to friends... but the truth is they borked the look. Hope they can fix it in 2009.... /me bets they will.

and socool heh yeah i cant let it go /pissed they took my bday present away from me/
