LOL , keep dreaming

The Lexus IS300 had a watered down Supra engine and even with vvt-i was easly modified like its big brother.

The G37 will have a watered down GT-R engine, only time will tell but you never know...

Kudos to my 5 year old friends who agree!

1. Any comparison to being coveted by modders like the Supra is/was is a joke
2. I made no indication whatsoever that the G37 might be "sexier" than the G35. In fact I said I wasn't really sold on it.
3. Anyone that would laugh at a previous G owner purchasing an updated model that has all of the improvements I listed in my first post isn't a person I would give any credence to. So believe me I'm not about to "trust you".
4. Your response ignores the other important points I made about why someone would buy the G37

Grow up.
1st. - I'm not here sporting my credibility.
2nd. - I did make the statement the G35 was sexier and I still say it is.
3rd. - I don't give a flip if you trust me or not; I will still laugh when I see the new G's on the road.
4th. - I only replied with an opinion I had about certain things you mentioned and I must say, I do like many of the improvements to the machine itself as well as the interior; however, that wont sell me on a car that us much less attractive than the one in my garage right now!

As far as your "grow up" comment... I never want to be as grown as some people claim to be...
Maybe you are just growing OLD in more ways than you want to admit.

Exactly... Also, I have seen Supras in good shape bring more than 30K recently here in Houston.

They aren't. The older supra's are capable of incredible power without building the motor... The G Coupe isn't. I have an 03 with 47k miles and it already feels cheap and old to me... especially when I compare it to my 07 Sedan. Your illusions of the current G being a classic are just that, illusions. Your G in 30 years will be a pile of metal in a scrap yard.

Also, laugh all you want as I pass you in my G37 Coupe and you try and keep up

We are talking about design here, not performance. The G35 coupe design is clean and dare I say - classic. I don't see the lines of the G35 get old anytime.

It's like comparing a Dino Ferrari to a F430 - The F430 would kill the Dino on any surface, but which one looks more classic?

My son's xB was picked as one of the 10 most collectible cars of the future. You gotta be really odd or have something special going to make it on that collectible/classic list. The G35(and G37) isn't ever going to be on that list, so get over it.

Nope, he was talking about engine performance.
