I left the link a couple of posts up.

Basically, the review says that the car has become much more refined which now all of a sudden has become a bad thing (you can't win with these guys). Shift action is alot better now with no grinding. Engine is smoother as well. So, basically, everything that was bad about the G is now great - but somehow it sounded like they liked that "roughness" before.

1/4 mile ET was not that great at 13.9 but the trap speed of 103 is pretty good. This is pretty much what I expected. Shows the high horsepower vs low end torque.

Thank you guys for posting this up! I'm soooo excited to get the G37 now. The descriptions fit well with what I'm looking for in the vehicle.

My favorite part:

"Gone is the gear-mesh noise, the buzzing, and the clunking from the transmission tunnel, and the shifter for the G37 Sport’s standard six-speed manual has been improved immeasurably. What once was a vague, hope-ya-don’t-grab-first-when-you’re-doing-that-4-3-downshift affair is now precise, smooth, and more direct, with more heft and less notchiness"

Summary:

"In the end, the G37 is still a fun-to-drive coupe with some attitude: it’s just that what’s there has been toned down quite a bit from the last model. While that’s bad for us hard-core enthusiasts, the extra refinement is a big improvement for those who have to live with the car everyday, whether sitting in traffic and cruising on the freeway. It’s not the quirky, jittery, manic machine the G35 was, but the Force is definitely with the G37."
