You cant test a 4WAS G against a non active steering BMW. I hope that 4WAS being mandatory is a bunch of crock....

I'm afraid that if Infiniti gets near 3 series prices too quickly, it could have a negative effect for sales of the G. Let's hope this isn't the case.

I agree. I think all edmunds was trying to show is if you want a fully loaded G, you only have to come up with $3800 to get a 335i MT (barebones). Trying to play up the fact that most people would rather get the "real thing" (even if it's lacking options) instead of the BMW "wanna-be". Although there where some positives, I think this review stings for Infiniti.

According to Infiniti specifications... the 4WAS G is an option on the G37 Sport, unless Infiniti changed it for some reason.

Does anyone know why Edmunds had to include it in this comparison? I don't really see the purpose. The review would've turned out differently if they didn't include it as in the comparison test they blame the different feelings toward the G37 due to the 4WAS they included.
