I understand where you are coming from, but sometimes you can like or hate a car without any reasons. However, it does seem pretty sketchy the way they put it...

I'd have to agree.

"Recommended Rating (2.5%): After the test, each participating editor was asked to rank the two coupes in order of preference based on which he or she thought would be best for the average consumer shopping in this segment."

Enthusiast? I don't think so.

"29-Point Evaluation (35%): Each participating editor ranked each car based on a comprehensive 29-point evaluation. The evaluation covered everything from exterior design to cupholders. Scoring was calculated on a point system, and the scores listed are averages based on all test participants' evaluations."

Can we see the 29-point evaluation please? I want to know what's actually in those points.

"Performance Testing (25%): Each coupe was subjected to a set of performance tests that measure acceleration, braking, speed through a 600-foot slalom course and lateral gs on a 200-foot skid pad. Scores were calculated by giving the better-performing coupe in each category 100 percent. The lesser performer was awarded points based on how close it came to the top car's score."

How much would have changed if the G37 didn't have the 4WAS that Edmunds really dislikes? It was even stated in the G37 full road test review but Edmunds still went along with it and tested a G37 WITH the 4WAS. The testing conditions weren't the same also.

"Price (20%): The numbers listed were the result of a simple percentage calculation based on the least expensive vehicle in the comparison test. Using the "as tested" prices of the actual evaluation vehicles, the least expensive one received a score of 100, with the remaining car receiving a lesser score based on how much each one costs."

Hmm... lets see, the 4WAS added to the total price. Edmunds obviously didn't like it even before this comparison test was released but they still had it. Infiniti gets the navigation in the G37 but the BMW doesn't? Why?

I have no respect for them rite now and dont want to waste my time, maybe tom i mite...but they just did a low ball thing. Wats more disturbing is the bottom says "Next" and "Previous" subtly implying next article or something not Page 1 of 5 of the review like it should read...which is why i originally asked about the score card etc, i bet many ppl would just glance the article and stop after first "page" like i originally did...

I doubt the letter i would rite (with no cussin, and very formal) would even get a response, or a response more than "if you dont like our work then dont read it"

They just look, read and sound sleazy at this point.....

I loved the article. It was very good.

Still not quite there yet with the 335, but I applaud Infiniti's nice try and hard work tough. Good value for the money.

Welcome to the forums. I assume that you're from the Bimmer forums?
