When the car sits for a long period of time (several hours) it starts fine. When is sits for a short period of time (0 - 45 mins) it starts fine.
Anything in between leads to a long crank (2- 4 seconds) where the engine struggles to fire then finally does.

I've had the dealership look at this a few times. Have had the fuel pump changed and the injectors inspected and that's not the problem.

I recently noted a slight smell of fuel when I opened the oil cap. Any ideas on what might be causing this issue?

Other than the intermittent starting issue, the car runs fine.
