Car shake/rattle

I know some of you might bash me for posting this saying 'why didnt you search it?'...well i did and i didnt find what i wanted to. (plus i dont have much time right now)

every now and then when im driving on even pavement, my car begins to rattle. this can happen anywhere from 15-40 mph. it scares the living s#it outta me cause my car is fairly new. i noticed it happens more often going uphill rather than downhill. as soon as i let go of the gas, the car stops shaking and i can accelerate again without it shaking for another few blocks. anyone with a similar problem?

Wow, I suggest you dealership that and have them replicate that problem. What exactly rattles/shakes?

well when the car rattles, u can feel the whole car vibrating but more noticeably the shift **** rattles pretty vigorously back and forth.

My shift **** vibrates too, its a 6MT thing, completely normal to our cars. As far as the "whole car" thing....I never heard of that one.

Woa now thats a problem. Your slip/VDC light doesnt come on? Could be something with the tranny/drivetrain, but should have the dealer take a look at it. Maybe torque conv? IDK dude sounds weird. Good luck

Yep, thats quite the problem. Your slushbox shifter should DEFINITELY be stationary while in any gate, whether P, R, or D. Take that thing to stealership ASAP

Hey man. I had the same exact problem that you were having and I didn't go in yet to get my car fixed. However, I know what is wrong with your car.

The Torque Converter in the tranny is making the car act stupid when shifting gears. So when the car needs to shift up to 3rd gear lets per say, it hesitates from going up or staying. You can sort of relate it to when you shift wrong on a manual and you jerk the car, its doing the same thing. But here is a link to the problem that you are having.

Just in case they try to pull a fast one on you, like the dealership did to me until, I went to Nissan instead of Infiniti for a service bulliten. Hope this helps.
