Exclamation VDC issue while cornering

Recently I have been having a problem while going through corners going up or down hills. It seems that the VDC will kick in and it kind of stalls briefly and the "slip" light will come on. It happens anywhere from apx 25-45mph depending on the corner. A couple days ago I turned the VDC off and drove the same corners as i normally would and it seemed to stop doing whatever it was doing before. Any help would be great.

Thanks

I'm going to answer your question before you get completely flamed, so have a fire extinguisher ready.
When you corner hard your rear tires start to break traction and the traction control kicks in so you don't spin out. If you turn your VDC off, it disables this feature but it will be more dangerous if you do not have good driving skills.

^ either this or your tire sizes are too different and making the car "think" tires are spinning/sliding

haha, sorry, i'm aware of how the vdc works, i guess i should've been more descriptive in my first post. The thing is though I'm not cornering hard at all, it shouldn't be slipping. I've had the car for almost a year and its just been doing it recently. It doesn't feel like it regularly does when the vdc kicks in. It kind of feels like the front grabs, like the breaks are being tapped and pulls one side slightly. It usually slows me down enough to have to drop a gear.

Your front/rear tire wear is most likely the issue. I had this issue when my fronts were 50% and my rears were new. Didn't go away until I got new fronts.
