Vdc and slip light always on and red brake
Hey guys my service engine soon light is always on regardless how many times I reset the computer...I also have a problem with my
Vdc slip sign always on and the red brake light. My brake fluid is good and pads are fairly new, anyone have an idea of what causes these lights ?
Thnx.

i have the same problem but the brake or CEL lights are not on. only the vdc off and slip. when i start the car, they are off, wheen i start moving, they come on. i heard it can be speed sensors. im having a mechanic look at it this week.. ill let you know what it was for me. but if u have a CEL on, check the code. it might tell you the exact problem.
same thing happened with me a few months ago. tried topping off brake fluid as most suggested and it went away for about 3 months. Now it came back the last 2 weeks and comes on after driving a few min every single time. Brake also feel like it vibrates before the lights come on. It's weird
I also read many times its the cam sensors. My friend has the same g as mine. I'll swap out the sensors to know for sure before going to the shop. I'll let u know if that's the problem. And the brakes vibrate before the light lights up is because the abs kicks in and then shuts down.
Takes 10-15 minutes each if that. I had a guy at work with same symptoms as u and had p340 I think. Unclip the sensor, remove the 10mm bolt, pull out sensor
So I swapped out the sensors and still the same thing. Are there any steering sensors? Because the lights go on when I turn the steering wheel while standing on one spot.

My car has both lights on but it is because I have the yaw sensor removed (for drifting). Maybe you need a new one. It is pretty much right under the cup holder.
here is some info on it.

I have an 04x had this happen to me a long time ago when the car was under warranty. Brought the car to the dealership to replace pads that were under warranty. On the way home about 50 miles from the dealership brake light and ses light came on. I was pissed, drove back to dealer, they claimed it was because a piece of dirt got in the master cylinder when they bled the brakes. There is a venturi in there that got blocked. They fixed it. That is what they told me, they only know the true story.
You don't need that sensor to have a the car drive correctly but it won't have no traction control without it. Those of us who drift/drag race unplug or wire into it to shut it off. If you hit the vdc off button the traction control can still kick in.
Read that thread I posted for more info. Mine is removed 100% of the time.
The strange thing about your lights is that when removed the ABS light doesn't come on. You may have just a blown fuse or the sensor as well and or a control unit for vdc and abs could also be bad. The dealer should be able to figure this out but it would be a good idea to try and trouble shoot it yourself first.
here is what I would be looking at-
Abs/tcm/vdc ecu/bcm-$50 avg on ebay (used)
VDC Yaw Rate Sensor-$100-150 avg on ebay (used)
Abs unit(pump)- $150-200 avg on ebay (used)
These parts I would not have a problem buying used as they normally don't fail.
These are parts you can install (maybe not the abs pump that is a little more work then just clips). With the control unit on some cars they must be programmed but I think on this it is plug and play.
I am interested to see what this ends up being. I would also ask whoever did your work (if you didn't sorry i didn't go back to reread this) on the speed sensors for either money back or a discount on this service as it was't the issue and those sensor could have been tested for function.
