ecu reset?

ecu reset?

Im about to put a K+N cai in my 08 g35s and i was wondering if u have to do the ecu reset after the install? If so, how!? Any help would be really helpful!

Disconnect the neg battery terminal... Check the FAQ/DIY threads for the technical way.

I didn't and my car kinda ffreaked out for a second because there was a lot of dust and clogging on my old filter. You don't HAVE to but I would do it

Just for a K&N filter? Don't need to do this. Maybe if you changed out the whole system but even i didn't do that for mine.
