Is it work getting performance mods on a 5AT?
grounding kit, transgo valve body, a new final drive, and lastly a tranny cooler.
if you're looking to add lots of power own the road via supercharger, invest in a tranny cooler soon.
there's a lot of choices for different/higher FD's too. a lot of people usually go with 3.7 or 4.08fd.
the first 3 i listed are def worth it, especially if you're looking to build up on an AT.

I have a 06 5at. Grounding kit, Stillen intake with polished z-tube. 5/16" Motodyne plenum spacer. SPC front a-arms, rear toe and camber bolts. The sound is great when I floor it. Not sure about any increased power, but my wife noticed a quicker throttle response and I like to think it has more power, about 20hp if you go by all the manufacturers' claims. Realistically probably only 5hp. The suspension parts are for the quick tire wear this car is known for. I put on rear z-springs. That lowered the rear about 1/2" so I needed the camber and toe adjusted more than stock. The front isn't lowered, but the inside of the tires wear too quick so I got the adjustable a arm. I did all the work myself with the help of this site and the several "how-to" posts. I'm not a mechanic, just a dabbler. This car is a dream to work on. Have fun.
