Air Conditioner blowing a faint...smoke..steam?

Hey guys, bought my 03 6spd about 3 months ago and its been great.

Last week I was driving on the highway...80mph with my AC on and I noticed there was what looked like condensation on the vents, i wiped my finger on it and there was no smell to it so I THINK it's just heavy condensation, but it won't do it all the time. Very weird.

Another thing I noticed is that the center vent was blowing some sort of vapor smoke. (thats the best way to describe it). This also had no smell, which just makes me wonder what the heck it could be. It won't do it consistently, just from time to time. And it seems to only be when it is set to the recirculating setting.

The air conditioner is blowing cold, and works very well, but it's blowing this vapor, so I'm at a loss.

I had the same issue on my durango a few years back and it was a bad heater core burning coolant, but that had a very distinct smell, and the liquid on the vents was very greasy.

Please guys, if you have any idea of what this could be, help me out!

Thanks a bunch

Is that really all it is? I just wanna be sure I'm not breathing in a vaporized coolant or anything like that.

If you live somewhere with elevated humidity levels, it's most likely condensation vapor. The AC is cold enough to make vapor like that if it runs properly. If it was coolant (which it shouldn't be) you would have a sweet smell in the car.
