getting bad mpg
When are you suppose to replace spark plugs? How many miles?

Believe the OEM platinum plugs go 100K. I replaced mine at 60K with iridiums however. Change your air filter, clean MAF sensor, check tire pressure. These are the first things to check when getting poor mpg.

Replaced mine at 68k and they were pretty bad. It's also a good time to check for leaky valve covers while you're at it.

^This. My MPG went bad and got these things done and it was like night and day.

get iridiums and basically just do a tune up. If that doesn't help you probably have a more serious issue.
