If you don't have something useful to say, don't bother saying it. The G35 is different compared to the older cars I have owned.

I'm TDY at the moment, but I found this picture after a quick search, mine looks exactly like it. Should give you an idea of the concept.

Not sure if it will fit the jack you pictured though. Useful search terms are "jack pad" or hockey puck mod.

where the yellow jack points are resting.

Bump...like I said before...nothing personal but if you can't comprehend how to raise your car you shouldn't be working on it. Leave it to the professionals. If its not done correctly things could def go south. In my own experience I've seen a lot of customers leave my shop thinking they can conquer a job, and end up causing a lot more damage that could've been avoided in the first place.

yea but with that logic, no one would ever learn how to do anything themselves. sometimes those mess ups help you learn better than anything else. It sucks but some people have to pay penalties to learn. At least he stopped and asked before ruining the underside of his car.

Now that being said, it is extremely important to jack it up properly as it could be a life or death matter. Don't forgot to use jackstands once it's up.

Point taken.. Everybody has to learn somewhere. But as far as jacking up your car...like you said life or death situation. If he wants to attempt it himself more power to him. Just be careful
