Alright so I recently got back my 06 g coupe (A/T) from the shop. Im guessing my ecu was reset because nothing was programmed anymore. Anyways, ever since I got it back, it would beep every time I close the door with the engine off of course. From the inside, it has a continuous beep for about 3 seconds. From the outside, it beeps 3 times. It's very annoying. On my dashboard, a red key light is blinking until I insert the key into ignition. I don't have a key fob so it couldn't be that it's telling me my keys are inside still.. help would be very appreciated.

Didn't all '06 come with iKey? But you're using the mechanical key even to lock the door?
I can't think of what the car is trying to tell you. Inside chime beeps as soon as you get in and close the door? And outside chime beeps as soon as you step out and close the door? I think those should be two different warnings. You might first try a disconnect battery reset yourself (save seat position, radio stations, audio settings, etc...).
Here is an excerpt from the service manual which may help you figure it out.

 

The beeps happen at the exact same time whether I'm inside or outside as soon as I close the door. My car does come with ikey but it doesn't work. Ive had the car almost 2 years and it never did this till I got it back from the shop. I turn the car in with a key and lock with a key.

The one you want is "bl.pdf" which is "Body, Lock & Security System".

Man, it would be worth it for you to get your ikey to work, it's a real convenient feature...
