Service Engine Soon

Ok so I'm going to AutoZone after work to get the code (hopefully not codes). I was told there is no charge is that correct?

The past 2 weeks I've had far drives 2hr + drives there and back went down on Friday drove back on Sunday. One to Montauk and one to seaside in Jersey. My SES came on the way home from jersey this weekend. Any idea why the SES light is being thrown? Just some general ideas would be great I will be fixing today no matter what im dropping car off at my mechanic just want some ideas don't want him to change things that don't need changing.

*** almost positive its not the gas cap...

Guessing won't get you the answer Patrick, auto parts stores don't charge for this service in hopes you'll buy the sensor from them. Gas cap is the first thing we always check when getting that dreaded warning. Two times that I got the SES warning it was the airflow sensor, last time it was a very dirty cone filter.

So it looks like its my O2 sensor. The weird thing is when I got my Art pipes installed there was no O2 sensor. My tuner had to weld one on... Do you think that is the problem?

Also they said it could also be an exhaust leak?

Or an Intake leak? I was going to bring it to a local shop but now im thinking bringing it back to the tuner. Any ideas?

Either exhaust leak or bad O2 sensor.

Could it be the exhaust was just not put on right or did I probably crack it?

Patrick, go back to your tuner! Sounds like he needs to adjust your shifting pattern anyway, your trans shouldn't be shifting that hard in normal drive...Gary

update*****

Some how the P2A00 code was thrown because my Stillen ztube had cracks from the heat. They silicone it up. I'm going to contact the company I bought it from hopefully I can get a refund and buy an OEM one.

engine light came on

Took my car in for an oil change and not even a mile after leaving the delaer (Infiniti) my light came on and my car started driving funny. Felt like it was stuck in a gear like 3rd or 4th. I have an 06 infiniti g35 sedan and the manual mode wasn't working either. So I took it back and they're not even sure about some of the codes its throwing off. plz help Have no idea what to do next. This is the sheet they gave me with the code errors.
