Hey guys so I've got these anzo Halo projector headlights and I've got a slight issue with them. On one of the them the outside lights that run down the side don't turn on when my daylight running lights are on. But as you can see in the picture they come on with my parking lights and low beams. Anyone know what the problem could be? PS how do you adjust the lights aim?
One of the wires on the back of the headlight leads to the outer LED strip. U can use a multimeter to verify. That wire either has a poor connection at the harness or it just came loose somewhere else. Either fix the connection or just tap power from another wire into that one to make it work.
As for adjusting the headlights up/down, there is a hole on the headlight assembly itself where u can stick a phillips screwdriver in and turn the teeth to move the beam up or down.
Here is the hole and u can see the adjusting teeth in there. However, no matter how much I tried to adjust it using those teeth the screwdriver would just not turn freely. It takes quite a bit of turning to get the beam to move. So I got frustrated and used a dremel to cut off the plastic around it so I can adjust the beam using the screw on the back side.
Here u can see how I cut out the plastic to get access to the rear adjusting screw. I had to use a small bit ratchet to get in there because there isnt much clearance behind it to fit a screwdriver.
