Coilovers Newbie.

I've been looking around for coilovers that has damper adjust, aggressive amount of spring rates, and fit my budget, I've ended up with these:
D2 RS Coilovers, Megan Racing Coil-Over Dampers, or Buddy Club's Racing Spec Dampers.
I’m mostly looking for overall ease of self installation and quality. What is the best recommend out of these three? Thanks

I would vote for the Buddy Club. They usually make excellent products for Honda's. I know that they have been making things for the G and Z now, quality should be up there.

However...just save the money and get a good set. Probably about 16-1700....I honestly vote that you just save the money and get either the HKS adjustable version, or Tein Flex model.

Just my thoughts.

of the 3 courses you mentioned, the buddy club would be the absolute best. if you want even better coilovers, look into the new Tanabe's (released a couple more months or so), the Silk Road coilovers, or Tein (but specify the spring rate you want).

After reading "How to install springs," what parts of the process do I actually use 19 mm sockets?

I think you need to use 19mm sockets to take off the sway bars from the arms for a while and the rest is 17s and 12mm sockets for the struts.

shouldnt take all that long if you have access to a shop, lift and air tools. takes a while to setup your suspension sag and damping according to height.

^... Herb... I hope that's not the suspension you got... because... rears on a coupe are two piece... right... not unless they changed the set-up on the 05's...?????
