The construction of t he headers allow you to install the headers without suspending the engine from the mounts. I never had a hard time installing headers on my old t-type and from the looks of things...It shouldnt be that much of a difference. *crossing fingers*

I'll let you know when I'll be doing them...hopefully some time next weekend pending if my Dad can find me an open stall at his workplace. Have you priced the fluids for your trans flush yet?

Nah, I wanted to install headers but I heard that installing them is a nightmare..

yeah, with the right tools, it can be done. you got "Troy" (movie) like hands though. it might be harder for you, and 636racer because of this. i'm on the somalian skinny toothpick side and i can access most places.

Possibly, I have to see if Endless' Dyno is available and working. I already did a baseline with them, 233rwhp/222lbs-tq.

The headers are about to be installed. I'm at my Dad's shop (Tony Honda)...If anyone wants to check out how it's being installed, come on down to the back side of Tony Honda, 1st Garage door, 1st stall...just look for the only G35 up on the racks

My Dad and I finished the installation sometime around 12:00am. Took us over 6-7 hours including cooling...car and our heads. Installation was a bit rough, G35Five_O came down and checked it out and witnessed our puzzle piecing. The installation was hard to begin with, jensen said because our trojan hands, we'd have a hard time...it wasnt so much my hands, it was my arms. My Dad has the trojan hands...his hads are concrete like. ANYWAY, the hardest part was taking off the old manifolds...trying to figure out what extensions, universals, wobbles, etc to use to get to the nuts. We often took breaks to contemplate how we'd execute each nut. getting the new manifolds were easy, tightening up were easy because we already knew what to do, revers of how we took the old manifolds off. The hardest side was the passenger side, we had to remove a bracket that was bolted to the alternator to get to the nut closest to the front of the car. I wish my girlfriend was helping us out, she wouldve got to the tigher places with ease...but she stayed home because she had a long day, but she ended up washing clothes ...so much for rest

Would I do this again? hell no!!!!!! My Dad and I were sleepy, getting our hands and arms cut up. Was it worth it? hell yeah!!!! I would estimate about 3-4 hours if I had to do it all over again...but not a chance. Maybe if my girlfriend let me buy a 350Z...I'd do it all over again...but no chance at that either , she wants me to buy a Titan next. (I have no problems with that either) Impressions - It pulled pretty hard on the street. I never really got to open her up on the freeway, I was following my Dad home making sure he was driving straight...we were both tired. I will have to tighten up the bolts after about 500 miles, I'm pretty sure some leaks are going to occur. the instruction indicated 25ftlbs of torque for the manifold nuts, I thought that was a little bit...but I followed it anywyas. I'm going to up it to 30ft lbs next week when I install the tanabe Y-pipe (should be here some time wednesday). APS Test pipes should be here the following week along with the extention pipe so i can complete the exhaust installation with the tanabe ultra medallion pipe. I was hoping to get them all in by the next SuperLap....but, I'll do with what I got. I'm glad we did the headers first; hardest parts should always be done first.

Super Lap is my next testing grounds...till then?...keep watch. same bat time, same bat channel.

btw, grease munky hands and McD fries go great together

^ i'd have helped you out if you asked. i'm somalian status in the arms dept. good fawking deals with the tanabe parts. you will not be disappointed one bit. you get the sways too? they're really good too meng. application tested is a real plus.

yah, I got those too. I'm having a set of end links made, much like the ones at performance nissan parts...when I get those in, I'll install the swaybars.
