I just got myself another...
Check the balance on the right and left sides. The removal of the entire right half of the crap that was there really changed the balance. Enough that I had to readjust the rear coilover heights and dampening levels. That sucked @$$.
Looks good though.

^ that looks super ugly though. agreed, a sticky would be proper. 636racer is the only one on these forums who actually did an in depth/step by step diy mod install.
shaka braddah. you should do an in depth diy on the "Ocho-Ocho."

If you cut it and leave it open...its going to look really overly open in that area. Yes you can see the exhaust....but you will also be looking under the car as well...and everything thats there.
If there is any thought of using a dual exhaust due to FI mods in the future.......then I would just leave it open. Your car is dark....cant really see that other cut out unless its in the light.

I would think that as i pick up speed, air will fill that void and push the tail up. that's pretty dangerous. The stock muffler has a spoiler to would pull the taill down. I'd like to go and do the GT Class styling of maybe getting a Signal Auto wing, but it could look ricerish if I dont have anything exterior to complement the wing. and I dont want to drill holes in the trunk so, I'll just have to get me a CF hood
and drill that one if I decide to go taht route. I was also thinking about molding a plate to cover up the void so that air just passes through...but that takes too much work and patiences and a ton of material to get it right. We'll see...I was thinking about making a mold for the trunk and vacuum cure CF/Kevlar and see how that goes. Just need money and time to commit.

hahaha...there's always vakamon. Before anyone goes and try and get sponsorship from them...come to drift session and talk to a guy name Jensen Kona, he WAS sponsored by them and he pulled out by choice. A lot of promises, none kept.

UTR Test Pipes installed.
Pic will be up on Tuesday.
jd, no problems (yet) with any CEL coming on with the non-foulers. How did you set your up? I used two adapters each, the 1st one mounted on the test pipes, and the second one I bored out with a 3/8" drill bit. My Dad didnt have a drill that could take a 1/2" bit at his shop. The fit was pretty snug,...bolted it right on and so far..so good.
