jd, no problems man...lmk how it goes.
baces, I like them but they're causing a lot of exhaust rasp. Sounds no better than a civic with a straight pipe ~ ugly! It comes out between 2500-3000 under engine load. It doesnt come out much while cruising. I'll probably look into getting a set of resonated test pipes later on...but for now, these will do fine. the butt dyno can't tell what kind of gains made, if any...I think I lost some low end torque with the overall exhaust system. though 3500^ feels like a bat out of hell. I still have to take the car down on the 1/4mi and see how it does.

I saw skylar's G parked on the main road... freakin crazy parking your whip right there... out in the open... than I turned the corner... Seen another black G sitting on them 5zigen 5zr rims... with the hidden intercooler... sneaky guy... I noticed it because he had that stillen hood...

which redline you went to? the one in PC? The on in Kalihi has them in stock...that's ok, as long as you got them.
here's what's next:
UPS man delivered them to me last night and my Dad and I are going to mount them on the Kazera rims. These are going to be my street tires. Right now I'm delegating between FN01R-C 17x10 +25, 17x10 +12 and 17x9 +15 in front and my final decision is 17x10 +12 in back. They're going to be be my track rims.
Maybe you guys can help:
Here's what I did, I fitted 17x9 +35 and 17x10 +35 over the front rotors to see if they cleared the brembo brakes. They both cleared but I found that the rear of the rim are a little too close for comfort towards the control arm assembly. I put on the 17x10 +35 with a 1/4" spacer (6.35mm) and it was pretty close, but the rim bolted on. I let the suspension settle and it cleared the fender as well...I just had to get over the HUGE fender well gap. But as soon as I get the RM/A8 on...that should be all good. Jason@Performance on MY350Z also suggested that I could fit 17x10 +25 and stretch the tires up front. The tires that were mounted on the test rims were advan A043 245/40 and they were STRECHED. I'm going with Toyo RA-1, and they dont make 245/40...but a step up at 255/40. I've already concluded that I'd run 275/40 in back on the 17x10 +12 setup and there shouldnt be any need to flare or roll the fenders, keeping the wheel diameter slightly larger than a stock 350Z 17" setup. If I have to, I'll go with a 17x9 +15 but I wont be happy with the look. I know that 17x10 +35 is a no go, with with 6.35mm, it fits...barely. +25 will have a little more clearance than a +35 w/6.35mm spacer. There's guys running on 17x9 +15 all around with 275/40 mounted all around too. Still, I like the width and the crazy flares of the 10" rim. I'm leaning towards the 17x10 +25 to keep aesthetics clean with the 17x10 rear.
opinions?
