Re: HKS Drager II Exhaust

It's OK, HKS was originally going to use it for the Sedan, Someone I know actually had one Prototyped from Japan. However It Hangs TOO LOW due to the Round Cannister. That's why HKS went with the Oval Sport, I was the First to Get one for my dad's Sedan, Sounds Great.......

Re: HKS Drager II Exhaust

Hi, Mike. I've had the HKS Sport muffler installed on my sedan for a couple of weeks. The quality of construction is quite good. The installation was so easy that I did it in the StrictlyZ parking lot. There is a resonance at 1600-1800 RPM during city driving but it is not too loud. The noise is not much louder than stock at freeway speeds. At full throttle - what a lovely warbling wail! I have not yet determined if the gas mileage is adversely affected.

Many thank to Yuichi at StrictlyZ for all of his help in ordering the HKS.

Re: HKS Drager II Exhaust

Way to go Dan. Congrats. I think it is the best exhaust pipe out there. Not too loud and looks very clean and mature. Install the Z-pipe and the Stillen HFB and you will really hear the difference.

Anyone selling their coupe mid-pipe? Let me know.

Cato, the exhaust sounds quite normal at around 80 in auto mode. Slip it in manumatic mode and your G will make a statement that will surely get your attention. 4000 to 5000 RPM is wonderful!

Re: HKS Drager II Exhaust

mbarrad,

That does it! I've been fence sitting about getting an exhaust.
Don't want anything to ruin the sound of my tires on the
pavement at highway speeds. If the performance exhaust
is quiet at cruising speeds, I'm gonna get one!

Cato,

Get off the fence and get an HKS exhaust. Try it you'll like it! Here is a link to the car show pics that were posted.

Sorry for my ignorance, but Is this exhaust for the sedan only, or for the coupe also?

Re: HKS Drager II Exhaust

This is for the Sedan only. The coupes get the better exhausts.
