If you have a rev up motor, the MD MREV@ w/ a 5/16th spacer (or possibly 1/2) is w/out a doubt the best single mod in terms of gains for the money.

I went w/ 5/16 so I could put my engine cover on in case of warranty issues.

I run w/out the cover because it creates heat soak and reduces hp by 3

So is the MRev2 with a 1/2" spacer better than gettin a Mrev2 with a Crawford or Kinetix Plenum? And sorry if i seem a little ignorant, ive been away from the forums for a while, but whats a rev up motor?

I've installed quite a few intakes in the past year on mine and friend's G's and here's what I've come up with...

Stay away from CAI's. Especially if you use your car all year round (rain/salt/sleet/snow does bad things to an exposed filter).

I like the Stillen intake, along with the Injen and K&N (both can be made into short ram instead of the CAI they are usually implemented as). Pop charger is OK in my opinion (still think the heat shield is flimsy and the duct couplers are cheap and a PITA to install). I know there is a lot of love for the PC here, but sorry guys.

Exhaust... got the money? Then go with Stillen! Otherwise... Invidia, Injen, and Borla arn't bad.

Cats/test pipes are a PITA to install, but if you go with cats... Kintex and Crawford arn't too bad.

Plenum... Crawford has good airflow (better then the stock plenum), but gets HOT. 5/16 motordyne spacer (and be sure to get the Isothermal package) is the way to go.

Grounding kit... IMR, cheap and does the job. Spend more then 60 bucks on a grounding kit ain't worth it.

Here's something you might have not thought of... your suspension...GET NEW SWAY BARS. Stillen and Hotchkis are real good.
