Help! Intake trouble

Hey everyone. I just got the injen cai installed on my 04 coupe MT last month. over the past couple days, my car had been stalling out every once in a while. I thought the problem was a low idle. But yesterday the car stalled out every couple blocks so I popped the hood to inspect. turns out the intake was completely disconnected from the sleeve that attaches to the bottom filter. I guess it wasnt fastened well and became looser and looser over time before becoming completely disconnected yesterday. Anybody know of permanent damage that could have occurred? I'm afraid of loose dirt particles or dust that could have gotten sucked into the engine since the cone filter wasnt connected.

Nah it shouldn't cause you any problems. That happened to me once, never stalled though, but it happened about a year ago. No problems here.
