heat shield rattle..help

heat shield rattle..help

just installed kinetix hfc and i sometimes hear a rattle when accelerate hard...anyone know how to get rid of the rattling?

arent the HFC's smaller than stock? I would think if anything you would have more clearance in there. Check your hangers form the cat back portion of your exhaust. I'm thinking one of your hangers or hanger arms got bent while installing your HFC's. Visually inspect the exhaust with a large mirror while the car is on all 4's in your garage, have a buddy rev the engine while it is park to see.

could be a piece of ur cat broken off inside,,,,or ur heatshield is loose just remove that pos...also did u get the kenitix air intake manifold is that wat u got...or am i mistaken...i wa looking at that look sick under the hood ...well let me know...if any of this helps

Had the same issue on the passenger side, yep remove the heatshields and the rattle will go away

so just go in there and tear out the heat shields?...arent the heat shields necessary?

also its only on the passenger side aswell...and it goes away after the car warms up...like if i get on the gas a couple of times it will eventually go away..???
