I just drilled through my cat.
Yup, I was trying to gut my cat when the drill went rite through the side. I am suicidal! Anyone selling used cats?
Anyone know if it can be repaired by a welder or should I throw it away?

If I were you I would get the crawford high flow cats now for 500 you cant go wrong if you have to choice but to replace the ones you went power tool happy on.

You could also find someone to put a small weld bead over the hole if it's not too small.

It's not that hard to drill through a cat, but getting it to stand still during the process is the tough part.
Seriously, though, it's not that hard to do so "accidentally". A good weld might be able to make a quick fix in this situation and hold reasonably well, however you might use this as an opportunity for an upgrade-- divine signs?

It's not that hard to drill through a cat, but getting it to stand still during the process is the tough part.

I still have my original cats on there. The one with the hole was purchased used from my350. I just cant see spending 500 on hi flo cats. My neighbor knows how to weld, so I might let him take it to work and try to repair it.

I heard Random Cats makes a good smog legal for us in Cali.
