Intake & Exhaust Questions and info regarding various aftermatket exhaust systems for the G35 (Headers,Y-Pipes, and Cat-Back Systems)

I found another intake that I would definately buy if it fits...
Do you guys think that this would fit in our G?

why not just get a z tube and drop in a k&n? is the sound really that much of a difference for the extra $100+

if you have the money, why not? the sound is definitely and noticeably different.

btw, ztube and amsoil would be a better choice...

I started out my intake mods with just the Ztube and drop in K&N filter.
Very little sound difference from stock. Then I added the Stillen HiFlow Air Box.
HUGE difference with the Stillen! So yes, the sound was really $100 better.

haha ok. im more into performance and at least a subtle difference in sound. i guess many of you love that intake sound from the upgraded filters.

rick has done more than his fair share of research and has found the stillen intake to be the best choice for the 5at.

Hmmmm...why the Amsoil filter preference? (I use their oils, but have still bee using the stock paper filter--looking for a better alternative.)

thats jmo. after doing some researching it seems the oils from the k&n are potentially harmful. id rather not take the choice and stick with dry filters from now on. we'll see how it goes when i get it.
