Didn't you just suggest for the guy to do exhaust because the spacer and mrev didn't show any gains?

This is your quote:

exhaust. I met a guy at the skyline drive meet with the mrev and spacer installed but with before and after tyno runs, which showed absolutely no change lol. From what I understand you need to run a utec for that mod to really come to life (unlike a simple exhaust install).
This statement is 100% false. Especially when you just attempted to imply it won't show gains unless it's w/ an ecu tune. Nice try but no cigar.

I'm not saying the spacer is a bad product or that it doesn't produce any gains. If you actually read my posts instead of implying your own bs, you would see this. This wasn't a thread about not to or to install the mrev and spacer mod, it was a question of what to do first. With that and everything else, I stated I would do the exhaust. Instead of being rude and arrogant you may actually want to step back from yourself. You are clearly not an expert at anything here.

P.S. it's hilarious not halarious moron.

I didn't say that this mod wouldn't show any gains. I simply stated that there were concerns raised and what other members have found and their solution to thier problem. They weren't my opinions (since I do not have this mod installed or have experience with it) they were other G driver's opinions, which I used to help me decide on which I would suggest the originator of this thread does first. Then you went on a long tangent, leaving the scope of the argument, which was which mod to do first, not whether the mrev + spacer was a decent mod at all. Sorry buddy I do believe that you are the illiterate one. Since you have neither from your signature line a spacer nor an exhaust installed, you have no room to act as the resident expert here chief.

You didn't any anything of the sort in the way of "concerns". You just flat out said the spacer/mrev showed no gains. Then went on to say that an ecu tune was needed to show any. Um where were the words about the owners be "concerned"??? Show me.

I don't have a spacer, I have a plenum. I don't have an exhaust as I don't believe they are a cost effective mod yet. But feel free to let me know where I was wrong. That's actually the point yes?

If your contention that I don't know about exhausts because I don't have experience with exhausts in general, you're sadly mistaken.

let's play nice guys. if anyone insists on proving some point, then please address the substance of your argument rather than attacking another member - that'll get us no where except a closed thread.

from browsing through a couple of posts in this thread, it looks like it's worth something. let's not spoil the OP's thread.

with that said, carry on folks.

You would then have what looks identical to the MREV. Now the MREV2 is machined differently. By it being machined differently are we talking about just the air inlets them selves, they are redesigned so more air can be flowed through them. Or is even the out part of the plenum redesigned...idk

I PMed tony hopefully he will understand my question.

Nismo, I was at Tony's shop yesterday and he mentioned that he spoke with you... are you finally comfortable with the definition of MREV2?...

Yeah, I was completely misunderstanding everything. I had something set in my mind from what I heard along time ago and I wanted to hear that and nothing else. Then I read something tony wrote and it threw me off again so I PMed him and everything makes sense now. Thanks for the help!
