I just got the gen2 Stillen Catback installed on my 05 X and it sounds really nice. Sporty, not cheap tin can sounding.

Took the shop less then an hour to install it all.

Yeah I have the same exhaust at first it was great but then I got tired of the highway drone so I installed a magnaflow resonator now it's perfect. Go under an over pass or in a tunnel.

I can feel some extra juice, maybe not the 20HP at the wheel they claim but then again, I didn't hook it up to a dyno or anything.

It is much louder then stock, so if you are not into that, you have been warned. I can see how cruising at 3k RPM on the hiway could get annoying.

3rd gear on highway?
thats insane, ull be up to 5-6rpm if u go 3rdgear on highway. Isn't that horrible gas mileage and abit rough on the engine?
even on local speeds of 45 or more i go to 4th gear cuz i was afraid of cruising on high rpm might damage engine. Not true?

I think you will like it, if you don't care about it being a little loud when driving on the highway. I have it for a year now and very happy with it. Just to let you know a little more, it will get louder in warmer weather or driving around about 20 min.
