got my ztube/popcharger. Question.

I read the DIY instructions on how to install the popcharger.

Just curious, unlike the CAI there is no chance of the car to stop running out of nowhere correct?

And, has anyone had complcations with the popcharger?

I'm about to install it, hopefully it will be easy, i'm not much of a mecahnic whatsoever.. lol.

For those of you who've installed it themselves, was it an easy process, and how long did it take? Is there anyway to know if it's installed properly or not?

I also read that the AC wire, needs to be covered, does anyone have a picture a close up of what needs to be covered, and what is the best material I should use to cover it with?

One last question regarding the ztube i've read some people had fitment issues, like rubbing ect ect.. should i be concerned if mine rubs against anything else?

Thanks.

check the intake/exhaust forum for a sticky on this, but i believe you can adjust/rotate the z tube to avoid rubbing the a/c line and won't have to cover it.

ZZ-tube and pop charger should take you no more than a half hour to install. Just make sure to disconnect your battery when installing so that way you can "re-train" your ECU. I haven't had any issues here with mine. Just make sure you keep your filter clean otherwise your MPG's are going to suck.
