Different CF intakes? opinions?

I have been looking around for a carbon fiber Z tube and after searching around the site for about an hour it seems everyone is all for the UTR CF tube but while shopping around I found this one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-G...QQcmdZViewItem
I noticed the built in MAF sensor instead of using the stock one and I am a little distrusting because it is on ebay so....
Has anyone used this? Does it work just as well and sound just as good as the UTR tube? Is there any draw backs to having the built in MAF sensor socket instead of just using the stock one (bad flow causing misreading by the ECU)?

I'd rather run the stock G/Z tube than that piece found on ebay imo.

I had the UTR one for a while and it was nice. I like that one better because it has the MAS plug on it.

If you're looking for performance don't even bother with a CAI. Your butt dyno won't perceive the difference unless of course it's the placebo effect. If you want a nice piece of intake that makes some noise that's a different story. I went through the usual bolt-ons and in retrospect I should've just gone FI. Save your $$$.

Sorry Tim, just have to put my $0.02 again. Some manufacturers claim that you'll make 5hp with a CAI. Bahahahaha!

I think mxkon is doing research. Do you have a problem with that

BTW, I have a "Z" tube with a POPCharger. Hope that's OK with you

This intake does seem to have a nipple for the same hose as the UTR tube, and what I liked and didnt like about this is the MAS plug. It looks cool that it goes down all the way to the filter box but would changing the flow over the MAS sensor from the stock housing mess with the ECU or does the air flow differently enough with the aftermarket intake(stillen) and tube that it wouldnt matter?
Im just not sure about that from a technical stand point which is why I wanted the opinion of the forum.

Thats interesting considering at a dyno day with 15+ G's I saw G35's w/ the injen cai consistently dyno higher than G's without. If nothing a CAI improves the efficiency of other mods, especially when temps get hot.
