Not to steal your thread, but does anyone know if it will fit an 07 G35 Sedan?

Interesting...

Ill stick to FI or Crawford cats for now; I usually don't trust any "new" products.

I don't believe for a minute their claim that they "will not result in a raspy tone". Unless they built them with double wall piping, they will be ringing like a bell. Might as well just get their testpipes for half the money since these are not CARB legal anyway. Kinda dumb really.

Stillens H/F Cats.......

It's a shame that their not legal to use in Ca. on our cars. I've been bugging
Magnaflow to make replacement cats for the Orb 11 but the market isn't
big enough yet for them to produce what we need......there's got to be some
'03 G35's out there with in excess of 80K miles on the clock!

My friend with an 06 350Z mt just got it on his car. He told me there is some rasp. We were both gonna buy a set each for a discount but they only had one set in stock.

I dont think I'm gonna get them...gotta hear it in person first.

Id rather go with the FI ones, than those. At least its a mettalic core, but the FI look better quality.

FI has metallic and ceramic core. 400 Cell (ceramic) cats should not at all pose any rasp on a stock exhaust - but on aftermarket systems, if it wasn't designed for the system, you'll likely get rasp and/or trumpeting. 300 Cell (metallic) will flow more and likely rasp, for the same reasons above.

My PE cats are on their way over from Japan via ems right now. It think they are 400 cell mettalic core. Do you think it is it likely to rasp?

Based on them being 400 dell, they will restrict more, and likely no rasp. The fundamental difference for ceramic and metallic is longevity. Metallic will last longer and are much better for FI.

I would not spend the extra money on Stillen cats that won't do any more than the other ones on the market.

Do you have HFC's for an 07 G35 Sedan?

Not yet...we need to get one in, or a car with the HR motor, to re-fit. The version we have will not fir those cars properly.

If your local, and want a set, let us know, and we can use your car for the template.
