I have the stillen for the sedan and it is top quality in every way. The power gains are for real.

What about Nismo? It's lighter and cheaper than the Stillen. It's been reported to have a mean growl.

Re: STILLEN or INJEN EXHAUST?

The Injen is fairly new so no one really has it for the G35 yet.

I agree that the Stillen is a very good system, but it is a bit pricey. In my opinion, I think that the Injen would sound better than the Stillen due to the true dual exhaust set up they have. I am probably going to order the Injen at the end of this month. I will let you know how it goes.

Btw, I emailed Injen for more pictures and some clips, and they said more features should be up for the exhaust soon. And they also send my a dyno of a coupe with the Short Ram Injen Intake.

Here it is:

Re: STILLEN or INJEN EXHAUST?

Injen all the way.. Exhaust note is deeper and stronger (louder) then the Nismo, Borla, Stillen, and all the center muffler style exhausts... I believe at the exhaust shootout, only the Nismo and the Injen has the best all around WHP gain at all RPM range, made for daily street driving... As opposed to the Stillen, Borla which has good horsepower gain at only high RPM range... I mean come on, who wants to REDLINE their G's all the time to feel the HP gain?

I hope I didn't offend anybody, just my 2 cents..
cheers.

Pearl_G,

In my subjective opinion, obtained after reading and studying the dyno charts from Sport Z Magazine's Exhaust Shootout article, Stillen's exhaust was first in across the board torque, first in peak torque and first in across the board horsepower. It trailed Borla in peak hp by 1/10 of a horsepower. The Injen system finished second with the Nismo system close behind Injen. You might want read the article and "interpert" the dyno charts for yourself.

Re: STILLEN or INJEN EXHAUST?

I ordered the new Injen SES straight pipes. Will have them installed in the next few weeks. I will let you guys know how they come out. I studied all the charts and spoke with some people over at injen and this was what I wanted. Deeper at low and mean at high. We will see.
