I wondered the same thing, your not gonna find it here, Everyone has their own favorites, all subjective.

Do some research and find one you like that fits your budget. There is a site that has about 10 or more exhuasts complete with audio files, so you can hear each exhuast, but the URL escapes me.

I stuck with stillen, you know what your getting everytime.
Also ask daveO, he'll set you straight.

We manufacture a header kit and catback for the coupe... Nice stuff, and priced better than the competition.

Re: Best Exhaust for G35Coupe?

Greg, what setup do you guys have for the coupe exhuast? I didn't see it listed on your website... It it a single pipe like the B&B or a dual setup like the Borla?

Thanks!

The Borla exhaust has, imho, the least "ricey" sound while giving the car a very nice rumble.

Re: Best Exhaust for G35Coupe?

At 4500 miles I replaced the stock exhaust setup with Borla headers and cat back exhaust. Previously the engine felt like it was running out of breath as it strained to reach redline. I gained over 18 hp on the chassis dyno and the engine pulls right though 6000. The sound is a little louder but just below the level that would be intrusive at cruising speeds. Most of the sound boost is in the lower frequencies, just where it was needed. I drive with the window open and the heat on, just to hear it.

Exhaust sound is very subjective. IMO, the Injen, Nismo and Stillen exhaust systems have the least "ricey" sound in the real world and provide the car with good to very good across the board power and torque.

Re: Best Exhaust for G35Coupe?

I have the BRM catback exhaust from Greg and I love it. It has a nice throaty sound not ricey at all. It has the dual tips and you can't tell the difference by looking at the car. It turns heads let me tell you. A couple weeks after that install I put the Injen CAI on, now it really sounds even better.

Re: Best Exhaust for G35Coupe?

Sorry J - I sill can't figure out how to navigate this forum... I bleed NICO red/blue... :-)

It is identical to the B&B system (minor differences).
