What you need to decide is if you want to go CAI or SRI!! After you decide, then you can start comparing brands!

doesn't matter really if you're wondering about performance. I say go with the one that looks better to YOU.

Unhappy w/ the direction of management, several injen employees broke off to form Fujita; so the engineering from the two companies should be similar. I can't remember the exact thread, but I think i remember reading that the long tube on a cai actually hurt the VQ's performance. W/ an HKS exhaust, the Fugita has nice low rumble at idle and deep tone under WOT.

I know it has been discussed many times...
But is it really true that an intake would not improve the performance even with other breathing mods like exhaust and headers?
Thx

let's say the intake does help out.

i'm going to go out and say that most all people are not going to notice an extra 5whp added to the 230+whp that the car already has.

whether it helps or not, i'm for the placebo theory in this case.

i'd buy the stillen...just for the looks (simple/oem look) and sound.

Intakes do little to performance. If somehow an intake leaned out your car enough, then atleast theres power to be made from a tune.

Whatever you do, do not get an intake in hopes of getting blobs of power.

I purchased and installed a SP Series Cold Air Intake about a week ago. It took about 2 hours to install w/ my limited prior experience w/ intake installations. After everything though, I knocked off .3 from my 1/4 mile time which was the difference between beating a stock 2005 GTO and losing by a half a carlength.

Overall I cant be happier with an intake. Not to mention, it REALLY rips when I get on it now!
