For the price of MREV, headers, and a good exhaust, get cams and ECU reflash instead.

Yeah, the lightened pulleys make a big diff, imo. The stock ones are straight iron where the URs are nice and light, depending on your transmission 6TM or 5AT you'll notice quicker downshifts or upshifts, and a little bit better throttle response with the lighter weight. FYI, UR is stating 8 to 12 HP gain, but not sure if its rwhp or not. I know with my 2 upgrades now I can peel around corners too easy.

I went lightened, if you go Underdrive you might have issues with water pump or alternator, or AC if you still use it, plus a new belt. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Weight loss of approx 8 to 10 I'd say, the biggest benefit being your crank pulley

Sorry for large images

Nah, its only the under drive pulleys, thats what I was saying in my post above. Thats why I sacrificed the extra 2 hp for drivability . If you go with the underdrive its going to underdrive all your components, i.e, less rpms for your water pump, alternator and important engine components. Imo standard pulleys will still give you good reliability with increased power.

icic...well, as im looking on everythingg35.com, i see that there is the Unorthodox Racing Ultra SS Pulley set and the Unorthodox Racing Underdrive crank pulley. so i should not get the underdrive crank pulley because it will underdrive all my electrical stuff ex. ac, water pump, power steering? and instead get the ultra ss pulley set? i also found this on Unorthodox Racing's website: Pulley Set: Stock Diameter (Ultra SSc).

I have that one, it gives you the crank, the idler and the alternator I believe. I was surprised by the weight difference between the UR and the stock ones. They should be around 330 to 360 for the set. The crank one is the most noticable difference, but the others dont hurt either

The underdrive pulleys are slightley underdriven for the G. I believe the crank is smaller, the AC is larger, and the altnater is is the same size. Most of the power is gained due to the lighter weight than stock. Therefore its really up to you if you want to underdrive the car.
