very nice

I was trying to get a exhaust shop to do something exactly like this to my factory muffler with an aftermarket tip they had a few weeks ago and I got frustrated with them and gave up.

this is the same look I wanted and for the same reason. Wanted something beefier looking.

my question is does is look bad inside the tip like a bunch of butchered metal ?

You really can't see the butchered metal, but if you're worried, you could always paint the inside a flat black.

you know what nevermind. I just realized that due to the larger diameter of the G tailpipes than the Altimas tailpipes the cut pieces of metal would be pretty flattened out inside the tip when jamed on.

I bet it's hardly noticeable huh ?

Black sucks in absolute daylight or in photographs. This is my second black car and definitely my last.

After all that work, you need to polish the can. It's those finishing touches that pull it together.

It looks like the tips are $24.88/ea from our guys at everythingg35.com

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...13&catalogid=2

That's a hell of a lot cheaper than the $50-100 I was seeing for other quality tips that would have required welding and fabbing to cut the length down a bit.
