^spend about $500 and get the stillen exhaust welded on ur car. Go look at the pictures and buy the x-pipe go to a local exhaust shop and have them weld the pipes on to ur liking which would be just like the stillen design.
That is what i have and im very happy with it.

Here is the option for those of you who are in NO WAY mechanically inclined and would take a finger off if someone handed you a pair of sheet metal shears.

It appears that most of those tips only fit a 2.25" pipe. The pipes coming off the muffler are 2.5". This is why it was so hard to find tips for the G35 sedan. Usually if you find a tip that can fit a 2.5" pipe, it's either 4" in diameter and 5" long or 3.5" in diameter and 12" long.

Here is one that I'm actually considering.
http://www.autobarn.net/superior-sup28-6202.html
It fits 2.5" tail pipe. I measured the distance between my exhaust and nismo rear lip and it's about 6.5" so 7" would make it stick out .5" which is what I'm after. My ideal setup would be 3.5" dual oval tip like MB AMG(see attachment) but couldn't find anything yet.

The only problems with those tips are they have those nasty fitment screws on the back and that they're only 3" in diameter which would make them only fractionally larger than OEM. The cool thing about the Altima tips is they're 3.5" in diameter and they fit up against each other tightly with no gap. Using a 3" diameter tip will result in about a .5" gap between the tips. The AMG tips pictured fit snuggly against each other. The Altima tips look so perfect hanging back out there for a mere 5 minutes worth of work. You can adjust them to stick out further or even angle them down slightly if you wanted.

Sorry didn't notice that Altima OEMs are also 7" long. This is definitely a better choice then. I'll call the dealer to find out how much they are. Great find and great DIY.

OK so I found a local store that had Ractive 3.5" oval tip 7" long with 2.5" inlet. The price was $39 which is the same as $38.99 I was quoted for Fatboy tip(these are canadian prices) from a local Nissan dealer. After 1/2hr of work here are the results. BTW I had to cut off OEM mounting brackets used for OEM tip mounting. Now I think I want to move the whole exhaust up so it is closer to the rear valance for tighter look. Don't mind my dirty car.

The tips look great. In the first picks, you can't even tell there are tips on the car. I swear Nissan tried to dumb down the 03/04 G35 sedans as much as possible. Nasty grays lower sills, high ride height, no real wheel flaring, tiny exhaust tips, narrow body with a tall canopy, chrome lift door handles, etc. Luckily a lot of that can be improved on with a little time and money.

Not the fender flares... that's the only thing that I really want (or have yet to "improve")... but I am not willing to pay $3k+ to butcher up my car....

SO i bit the bullet and picked up a set this week, they arrived today, it literally took me 20 mins to do everythng, the tips slid right on without issue, nice and snug, the hardest part was the time it took to get the old ones off. i will probably have them tacked on or even take them back off in the spring and weld in a proper 2.5ID tube inside but for now, with the cou0pe middy! AWESOME!!!

I ordered a set of these Altima tips, but now that I've got them I decided not to use them. So I'm selling these to whoever wants them. They are brand new, not chopped up or installed in any way. Only took them out of the packaging to test fit them. I paid $61.14 shipped (including tax), but I'll let them go for $50 shipped. Cheapest you'll find. PM me if interested.

EDIT: Already sold them, thanks for looking.
