The tips on the Altima are not bolted on. They're slide on. Grab the tip and twist and the tip slides off.

Use JB Weld or have an exhaust shop tack it on there.

BTW I had to cut off OEM mounting brackets used for OEM tip mounting. Now I think I want to move the whole exhaust up so it is closer to the rear valance for tighter look. Don't mind my dirty car.
Where did you get them?
Do you Know the part number?

my G35 got hit and I have a rental 07 altima 2.5 s. The tips are on there pretty damn good. I tried to pull them off just to see how easy they slide on and off, they are on there pretty damn good.

Do the 3.5 altima tips fit without the cutting?

I found them in a local store called Canadian Tire which guys in the states don't have. I've seen few online places that have it. It is the Ractive 3.5" Oval bolt-on tip. Here is a link to the canadian store site. You should be able to find it in various US parts stores as well. Good luck.

I'm interested to know how you can base this as fact. When I look on everythingg35.com, they have two seperate parts listed, one for Altima 2.5 and one for Altima 3.5. Also, if your statement were true, that would mean the exhaust pipe for the 3.5 V6 is the same as the 2.5 4cyl; highly unlikely. I'm eager to see what information you have for us.
