From my best guess the Stillen uses a RC-2960
RC-2960 Product Specifications
Product Style: Round Tapered Universal Air Filter
Base Outside Diameter: 7.5 in (191 mm)
Flange Inside Diameter: 6 in (152 mm) (part that goes over the flange)
Flange Length: 1 in (25 mm)
Flange Type: Centered
Height: 5 in (127 mm)
Top Outside Diameter: 5 in (127 mm)
Top Style: Metal
Top Material/Finish: Chrome
The amsoil: 6065 matches the K&N in all specs except the length. It's 6.5" long. 1.5" longer than the K&N. See pic of my setup here:
You can see that it will hit the Stillen plastic part at the end of the filter housing. 1" longer will just hit the plastic. 1.5" will put it beyond the plastic. It will also hit the power duct if you have it installed. I "think" if you cut the stillen plastic away for clearance, the Amsoil would fit. I didnt' see a particular function of the plastic pieces that needed to be cut anyway. Also you might be able to cheat a bit on the Z tube or maf connections etc...

The R2C replacement for the JWT single filter application is as follows:
Overall length: 6.5"
Outlet 6.0"
Front diameter: 5.25"
Rear diameter: 7.25"
6.5" overall vs K&N's 5" media height. If R2c's 6.5" length includes the mounting flange length, then we might have a chance (ie.. if that flange is 1.5" or so). The Stillen flange where the hose clamp holds the filter onto the flange is about that dimension.
From what I remember, the JWT application can tolerate a bit more length. but the Stillen can't w/o cutting. Hopefully the maker will chime in and clarify

Thanks for the confirmation. Actually, what you PM'd me were the dimensions for the JWT replacement(C010500). But for my reference, was the over length of 6.5" including the flange? What is the media only length?
The replacement Stillen filter has a different model number: C010503. Can you confirm the dimensions of this one also? Thanks!

Can you post the dimensions? As you can see, that picture doesn't look like the stillen on my G. ie.. that filter dseems to stick out more than than my application above would allow. Hence the request for the stillen replacement filter dimensions.
Actually if you look really close, it looks like a portion of the stillen box has been cut away to allow your filter to stick out more. Correct?

Here's the Stillen replacement dimensions.
R2C replacement for Stillen systems:
Overall length to flange 8.5"
Filter Body length 7.75"
Small diameter 5.25"
Large diameter 7.50"
As noticed, it seems too long and confirms my observation above. Any reason to offer a filter that needs modification to fit? Not like that's a particularly bad but it should be mentioned.
I don't know why I'm pm'd these dimensions vs posting them here. I hope it's okay to do so.
To answer the pm question. The JWT dimensions were pm'd to me by the same person that pm'd me the stillen dimensions.

I received a PM from R2C and they said they were aware they were offering a filter that was too big to fit in the Stillen enclosure w/o modification (as per my thoughts). They said they would now incorporate that info into their instructions.
I feel like I'm doing R&D for these guys. Send me one, I'll install it with instuctions, pictures and a full write up.

^^^ wait... what??? The filter they said was designed specific for Stillen - they are now saying requires modifications to fit??? WTF?
Here I am all happy that someone finally makes a non oiled reusable replacement for Stillen and it turns out it doesn’t fit?
Hell there are already other replacement filter out there that will fit with modifications... doesn’t Ams make one>
I'm kinda pissed now.
